Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust dirt) and wet messes (spills or stains) in one go without the need to change devices. They also can save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will have impressive navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that have docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer at a affordable price and is one of the most simple robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is simple and the quick-start manual will have you up and running in no time with a full dust bag, water tank and a hard floor.

The S1 Pro is a powerful little machine that is able to clean up a storm and is a great vacuum cleaner too. The mops spin at high speeds and exert 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of pet hair, dirt and dried sticky spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a range of brushes and attachments and a user-friendly app that lets you choose the exact kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you could decide to let the robot do a deep clean in the kitchen and living rooms but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models cannot. Its only drawback is that it can crash into walls and objects at full speed - but an instant glance at the cleaning history in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading, and which obstacles it's run into or avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station informs you when maintenance tasks need to be done, such as emptying the debris tray and washing the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank by itself, using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long run time. The mop can operate for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can run for 136 minutes in standard mode, before having to recharge or returning to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive that lets you look at all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop is the most recent version. The model of this year features a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This enhances the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pick up fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners could overlook.
As with the two other Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that can help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It will then automatically alter its direction and clean them without missing a beat.
It's the most expensive model I've tried however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular design is eye-catching and it has only three physical buttons: the power button, which can also restart cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home button that can send the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin auto-refills.
The only downside I've discovered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if it's required) however, it's a hassle to remove the mount to wash manually. I've observed that any soft carpet the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these smart features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the life of batteries and maintenance on components. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. This is a shame considering the performance otherwise.

Smart DuoScrub, a new feature in its mop, utilizes two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can vacuum up pet hair and smaller dirt particles as well as picking up spills and wet spots.
The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is a great feature because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is an option we haven't seen on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great way to keep your home cleaner longer.
There are a lot of choices, including the possibility to schedule cleanings and change preferences. They can be set through the app or buttons that can be found on the device itself. The app is simple to use and provides a variety of options to customize the cleaning routine, and there are a lot of features that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles instead of using a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks sophisticated and classy. click the following web page than the other two-in-one robots on this list, at 4kg but it's not too heavy either, and it feels sturdy and well-built.
